The Original

$235.00

Harken back to the days the very first Barwas rolled off the assembly. Just like those simpler times, this cover embodies the clean modern aesthetic. The un-dyed cotton duck has a supple hand and employs the original chain-construction for grommet reinforcement. It effortlessly coordinates with any decor; sit down, lean back and let the stress of the world drift away.

Covers are made to order and may take up to two weeks to ship.

Description

Our covers are made of the highest quality materials available and will give your frame the look, comfort, and utility it deserves. The Original features a lovely and unassuming natural cotton duck canvas. This heavy canvas offers the look, comfort, and stability that the Barwa was designed for minus the shortcomings of cotton dyes, e.g. color fading and color transfers. The Original will bring your chair to its full potential for indoor and outdoor use. This cover is designed to be installed with the original springs included with these chairs. Replacement springs are available separately. Installation instructions are available here. For extended life or harsh environments, we recommend treating the canvas periodically with a fabric protector.

Each cover is hand made in Frisco, TX and features:

Surged edges to limit fraying and for a crisp, clean look.

A stainless steel chain is used to reinforce the grommets.

Pattern contouring helps to reduces “waviness” seen on some chairs where the legs meet the frame and provides more equal tension in this area.

Nickel-plated brass grommets are hand set and tightly fitted to prevent tearing under tension.

18oz marine-grade vinyl is used to reinforce the fabric supporting the grommets.

White heavy-duty bonded polyester thread is used to withstand harsh outdoor climates.

Meticulously sewn using a walking foot industrial machine to ensure proper stitch length, tension, and polished look.
